It takes about 2 hours and 50 minutes to complete a single trip, and three flights are available every week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). The outbound flight is scheduled as GX8993 (8:40-11:30, from Haikou Meilan Airport to Ezhou Huahu Airport) and the inbound flight as GX8994 (12:20-15:10, from Ezhou Huahu to Haikou Meilan Airport).
The direct flight between Ezhou and Haikou will make it more convenient for people in eastern Hubei Province to travel for business and leisure purposes, effectively improve the sense of achievement of travelling between eastern Hubei Province and Hainan Province, and further strengthen the economic, culture and tourism cooperation, facilitating mutual support and contributing to the construction progress of the "free trade ports" for both. It is an essential step for eastern Hubei Province and Hainan Province to better integrate into the pattern of domestic-international “dual circulation" development pattern.
To promote the Haikou flight, GX Airlines offers special discounted tickets till 15th January (RMB 440 from Ezhou to Haikou, and RMB 510 from Haikou to Ezhou).
